The Back Nine Business Showcase
42 Years on 7th Street and Serving Second Generation Pets
Lookout Mountain Veterinary Clinic has cared for Moon Valley pets from the same spot on 7th Street since 1984, and now sees a second generation of the same families. It is privately owned, and it pairs a warm, friendly front desk with state-of-the-art equipment and a familiar team.
Five doctors handle everything from preventive care to complex medical and surgical cases: Dr. Adam Schure, practicing here since 1997, Dr. Celena Edens, with the clinic since 2016, Dr. Courtney Leibering, Dr. Jessica Strautman, and Dr. Jeff Cook, retired from regular practice but still mentoring the team. There is a full-service grooming facility right on site.

Enjoy A Private Piano Concert for Five
Jesse Davlin, owner of The Staccato Cactus music school, is performing Historic Women Composers: A Piano Recital at Steinway & Sons in Scottsdale on Saturday, October 17, from 12:30 to 2 PM. The concert is free, with a free will donation toward graduate school, and seating is limited, so RSVP early.
Jesse is also hosting salons: the same program, performed inside the studio, for no more than five people at a time. Salons run Fridays through Sundays from October 18 to November 13, and you pick the day. Your Closet Cleanout Can Help Foster Kids This Month
On Saturday, September 26, from 9 AM to 12 PM, Moon Valley Bible Church (15602 N 7th St) is hosting a Women's Clothing Swap Event Fundraiser. Bring at least five pieces of women's clothing or accessories, like shoes, jewelry, or hats, and take that same number home.
It is $37 to attend, paid when you arrive, and every dollar goes to OCJ Kids, an Arizona charity supporting foster children and at-risk kids.
