Moon Valley news, events and neighbors
The Moon Valley Insider: October 19, 2026
Good Morning Moon Valley,
Moon Valley, you REALLY showed up on Saturday! The Halloween Pop-Up filled Moon Valley Park with costumes, candy and neighbors, with twice the visitors we had last year, 50 Moon Valley businesses in one afternoon and a food drive success for Open Hands Food Pantry. Thank you to Liz Williams, REALTOR® at The Brokery for the candy, to Desert Valley Chiropractic for the treat bags, and to every vendor, sponsor and family who came out. Photos to come!
Did you enjoy the event, or do you find Check Moon Valley First useful? PLEASE leave us a Google review. It takes about a minute, and it helps more neighbors find us, which really helps local businesses more than you can imagine :). Thank you!
Check out everything NEW this week. Grab your TEA and let's go!

The Vet That Has Known Moon Valley Pets Since 1984
Lookout Mountain Veterinary Clinic has cared for Moon Valley pets from the same spot on 7th Street since 1984, and today the team sees a second generation of the same families walking through the door.
Five doctors handle everything from preventive care to complex medical and surgical cases, including Dr. Adam Schure, practicing here since 1997, and most of the technicians and support staff have been with the clinic ten years or more.
